Radio France will celebrate Judy Garland’s 90th birthday with a live broadcast on June 10, 2012 during which Laurent Valière, producer and host of France Musique’s 42e rue (42nd Street), will present the complete music to A Star is Born. A yet to be annouced pianist and a few singers will perform all the songs in the score, including ones written for the film but unused. Artistic director Jean Lacornerie will be announcing further details in the months ahead. 42e rue is broadcast on Sunday mornings at 11 A.M. Paris time, and can be heard at the 42e rue website in the month following the tribute.
