Laurent Valière, producer and host of the program 42e rue [42nd Street], aired on France Musique, which is a station of French Public Radio, just confirmed that he will be devoting a full hour to Judy Garland – Lost Tracks 1929-1959 (JSP Records JSP965) on Sunday, December 5, 2010 at 11 A.M. local time (5 A.M. EST). One can stream his program live at the program’s website, http://sites.radiofrance.fr/francemusique/em/rue/pres.php?e_id=65000060 , or listen to it for four weeks thereafter at their archives.

The owners of the “Lost Decca Test” records will be interviewed by journalist James Figueroa for the San Gabriel Valley Tribune (www.sgvtribune.com).  The interview will be conducted on Tuesday, November 16th and is the first time the owners of the actual discs have agreed to be interviewed.  Be sure to check out the paper’s website if you want to see what the owners look like (there should be photos), plus read their first hand account about how they ended up with the records and their subsequent convoluted and conflicting trek through the world of the big name music labels, record collectors, auctions, and Garland fandom.
