France Musique To Be First To Play Newly-Discovered “Lose That Long Face”

JSP Records has announced that the new 2-CD set, JUDY GARLAND SINGS HAROLD ARLEN, will be released on March 11, 2016. It should be up for pre-order in the coming weeks. The newly-discovered playback disc of the full “Lose That Long Face,” from the 1954 movie A Star Is Born, that is in the new set will be aired for the first time on the France Musique program, 42e rue [42^nd Street], in March or April in a program called “Judy Garland: Faces Cachées [Judy Garland: Hidden Sides], in which Lawrence Schulman will be interviewed in French for an hour. 42e rue can be heard online at http://www.francemusique.fr/emission/42e-rue on Sundays between 11 A.M. and noon Paris time. The musical content of the program is as such:
