Just watched this episode last night. Coyne Steven Sanders always wrote that this episode is the single best of the “guest star” shows. I agree for the most part, although Steve Allen’s ego (and awful comedy material) are a bit much. For me, it would probably be the Lena Horne hour. In both cases, we don’t have to suffer through the horrible Jerry Van Dyke!!
