Interviews

Over the past several years, I have featured interviews with authors, media producers, playwrights, Judy’s son, and many more who were involved in a wide variety of Garland related projects and/or in her personal life.

These interviews provide a different and sometimes telling perspective on Judy Garland’s legacy, coming from angles of fandom and admiration new to many.  Here they are all together, for easy access.

    1. Judy was in a car accident on May 24, 1938, which resulted in her suffering three broken ribs, a sprained back, and a punctured lung. She healed quickly and returned to work on “Love Finds Andy Hardy” on June 11th. I don’t know of any article in which Judy mentions the accident and her niece being born a few days later, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. There are a lot of articles/notices about Judy’s accident published on the day after the accident in 1938.
