Judy Garland’s Wizard of Oz Dress & Ruby Slippers Sell For Over 1.5 Million Dollars

Early reports have been coming in from the Debbie Reynolds Auction in Los Angeles.  One of Garland’s “Dorothy” test dresses as well as the fabled “Arabian” test pair of Ruby Slippers sold for $1,119,300 and $627,300 respectively.

    There were two auctions. The Debbie Reynold’s auction was about 4 weeks before the one for the REAL Ruby Slippers (Held by Profiles in History aucion house).

    I had a piece of Judy memorabilia in that auction myself.
    I sold my piece, but was in awe if the price of the (one of 4 pairs of slippers made for Judy).
